The City of Sarnia invites you to mark your calendars for a day filled with fun and excitement at the annual Kids Funfest, happening on August 10, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Canatara Park. This free event promises to bring together families, children, and local organizations for a day of engaging activities and live entertainment.
The event, designed for kids 12 and under, features interactive activities ranging from sports demos to crafts, all provided by local organizations and groups. The day will be packed with opportunities for children to explore, learn, and play in themed zones such as Educational Services, Preschool and Childcare, and Support Services.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! The Canatara Park Bandshell will host live entertainment throughout the day. Be sure to catch the comedic juggling talents of Craig Douglas and the magical comedy of Peter Mennie, with performances scheduled at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m.
In addition to the entertainment, kids can enjoy inflatables, Top Shot Hockey, an interactive selfie backdrop, and creative activities at the Creation Station. For those looking to grab a bite, concession stands will offer food and beverages, including favorites like Pizza Pizza and Tasty Treats.
