Rahmat Tunisa Begum from Tirunelveli has been teaching the game of cubes, guiding numerous students to excel in this field. Recognized for her remarkable contribution, she was honored with the Golden Iconic Award for her exceptional coaching skills, fostering many achievers. Adding to their achievements, her son Seyed Mohammad also set a world record in cube competitions. Together, they actively participate in cube competitions, securing multiple accolades.
“I provide personalized coaching for cube gaming at my academy, ‘Star Coaching Centre,’ based in my hometown, Tirunelveli. Though I completed only up to the 12th standard, I didn’t let that hinder my aspirations. Instead, I engaged myself in various small home-based jobs to stay productive. Later, after getting married, I noticed my son, Seyed Mohammad, displaying a keen interest in cube gaming from a young age.
“He exhibited remarkable skills in the game, prompting me to provide him with specialized training. However, local cube training centers initially overlooked his potential, attributing it to his young age. Despite their skepticism, I remained steadfast in my belief in my son’s talent, relentlessly searching for suitable training opportunities.
“Eventually, a family friend introduced me to a cube trainer who recognized my son’s passion and began coaching him. Witnessing rapid progress, my son clinched the first prize at the national level, followed by the prestigious World Record Award. Inspired by his success, he collaborated with fellow students in a Guinness World Records competition.
“The cube game offers a myriad of challenges, ranging from 2×2 to 3×3, mirror cube, and pyramid, akin to navigating through an ocean of possibilities. While most of us are predominantly right-handed, engaging both hands in cube gaming activates both hemispheres of the brain, enhancing cognitive abilities. By training with both hands, players develop sharper focus and improved learning capabilities.
“Beyond mere color matching, cube gaming stimulates the mind, eyes, and hands simultaneously, significantly benefiting cognitive functions. Observing my son’s enhanced concentration and academic performance post-training, I recognized the transformative potential of cube gaming. Realizing the lack of awareness and accessibility to cube training in Tirunelveli, I embarked on a mission to impart this skill to others.
