In Sarnia, Canada, the Sarnia Tamil Sangam was established, and it recently celebrated its inaugural event—the Tamil Pongal Festival (January 2024). During this festive occasion, the Sarnia Tamil Association unveiled a pristine white logo featuring the silhouette of Thiruvalluvar, symbolizing the city’s iconic Bluewater Bridge.
