Sarnia, ON — Today, on May 19th, the Chess Blitz tournament held at The French School on Rapids Parkway has brought to light exceptional talent and competitive spirit among participants across two groups: Under 16 and Open for adults. Organized by Todd FontCharlton, Shardool, and Andy Bruziewicz, the event has seen intense competition and outstanding performances.

Under 16 Top Standings:
- Liam Best – 6.5 points
- Madhva Krishnamurthy – 6 points
- David Tolooei – 5.5 points


In Under 16, Liam Best clinched the top spot with an impressive 6.5 points, closely followed by Madhva Krishnamurthy with 6 points. David Tolooei secured the third position with 5.5 points, showcasing a strong performance throughout the tournament.
Open Top Standings:
- Samarth Seth – 8 points
- Stuart Blunt – 6 points
- Geoff Sonik – 5 points

Open Blitz saw Samarth Seth dominate with a commanding 8 points, establishing a clear lead. Stuart Blunt followed with a solid 6 points, and Geoff Sonik rounded out the top three with 5 points.

Special Brilliancy Awards
